Groaning and bemoaning his fate to be awake so early, Hajime rose out of bed, quickly slipping on some clothes and shoes. He didn't care if it matched. He didn't even care if it was clean. He just needed to be "decent": Isuzu was always so cross with him when he wasn't.
He opened his door and navigated his way around the bouncing silver kitten at his feet, making his way into the cafe's main dining room. But, it was empty.
